The monthly mini competitions started out in April 2010 to encourage members to shoot more with their Rangefinder cameras.
A different theme is given to members each month. They are given an entire month to submit their 3 best pictures in relation to the theme of the month. Thereafter, the pictures are judged by RF.SG members themselves through voting.
The different themes every month encourages members to exercise their creativity to shoot pictures which best represent the given theme for the month.
It has since been a platform not only for building up photography standards among members but also to showcase to others the capabilities of a Rangefinder camera.
