Hi everyone,
This is Aloysius from Hong Kong & it is my honor to introduce myself here.
My first customized leather was ordered from Morgan Sparks of Cameraleather in Nov 2010 and it took 3 months to be delivered in Jan 2011. I thought that this is just an exceptional case initially and I asked HKLFC members whether they also had the same experience.
It is surprising that most of the orders have been delayed for 3 months to even 1 year. Then I think why there aren’t any other people making leathers for cameras especially Leica M with genuine exotic leathers? So I began my research since Jan 2011, trying different exotic leathers to make skins for Leica M.
After more than 6 months in trying different kinds of leathers, I finally chose crocodile & lizard leathers to be the major sources of exotic leathers.

Besides making exotic leathers for Leica M, I also re-skin (removal of old skin & apply of new exotic leather) cameras for clients in Hong Kong. Through making exotic leathers, I have the opportunities to make friends from all walks of life in different countries such as Australia, North America & Singapore.
