I saw this old lady with her head leaning out of the window while i was walking down an old lane in Shanghai. She was looking left and right as if waiting for someone to come home.. As i approached her with camera in hand, she spoke in strong shanghainese accent which sounded like ‘what’s up?’.
I smiled and clicked the silent shutter on my camera at waist level, preset at 5 meters, hoping who she was waiting for, will come home soon. – Joshua Lau
