Photo Essay: Iran By Jimmy Sng

“Why Iran?”, many of our friends asked when the usual crew of wanderlust mates decided on the trip. Honestly, I don’t have the answer besides that it is a cool bragging right. My mother misheard I was going to Holland and was rather surprised when I gave her a pack of pistachios instead of tulips.

It turned out to be one of the better trips in recent years – the trip was safe, the people were friendly, the historical sites were magnificent, the persian history was rich, the food was amazing, and most importantly it was an excellent place to make photos. Making photos is generally easy except for photographing women, religious and military sites.
