Photo Essay: Panoramic Weddings By Fadly

The Xpan is a panoramic camera made by Fuji for Hasselblad in 1999. It was one that I coveted for a long, long time, even before I started shooting rangefinders.

I had the opportunity to own one after my wife bought one for me. (She must have been sick of listening to my rants about the camera!) The Hasselblad Xpan is a special camera. It’s special to me because it allows me to see things in a different perspective.

As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for unique ways to shoot a wedding. The Xpan, with its 65X24 frame, lets me squeeze in a lot more into a picture.
The excited guest at the far corner, the amazing landscape, all that would be lost with a normal 35mm camera.

I’ll never leave home without it!
