Photo Essay: Morocco By Eddy Wong

Here is a set of photos I have taken during my 2 weeks of backpacking around Morocco.
I am usually a 50mm shooter and black and white film shooter. But for this trip, I decided to try something different and brought along a 21mm and lots of colour negative and slide film.

Shooting in Morocco in certainly not easy, as the people there dont like to be photograph, more even so in the cities.

I spend 2 weeks travelling in Morocco from the big modern city of Casablanca, to the old historic town of Fez, the lovely blue village up the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen, the magical and peaceful Sahara Desert, Erg Chebbi, and to the beautiful city by the coast of the Alantic Ocean Essaouira.

I brought with me my Leica M6 TTL with 3 lenses.
They are:
- Zeiss Planar 50mm F2
- Leica Rigid Summicron 50mm F2
- Voigtlander Color Skopar 21mm F4
And not forgetting my Rolleiflex 2.8E

I came back home with 1 roll of black and white, 2 rolls of colour negatives and 3 rolls of slides.

I hope you enjoy this set of photos.
