RFSG Monthly Outings – Sept 2010

Hi guys

I think its almost akan datang for RF.SG’s monthy official shoot out. I’ve had a discussion with Redshutter & hookonclassic has expressed interest as well. Our BP boy is busy so I’ll just start this thread to receive your feedback & discussion.

This time it would be a late night shoot, taking place on the night of 25th Sept 2010 till morning of 26th Sept 2010.

Our proposed route would be:

Meeting place: Golden Wall Centre coffeeshop, Map:
http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_…515667236&l=13

Time: 2100hours.
Shoot location: Little India from 2130h-2300h
Supper makan: Supper Makan – 2300h-0030h
Part 2 of night shoot – Either Jurong Fishery Port Or Senoko Fishery Port – 0100h-0300h
Breakfast somewhere – 0300h-0400h or head home because we smell like fish, the smell of the slime sticks to your clothes!

Shooting in Little India, I’m sure you guys would all be familiar with. Mostly we’ve been there on un-official RF.SG shoots for the day, I think the late night life there would be a nice change for members & of course away from the blazing Singapore sun.

After the shoot, we can have supper around little india area & a short break.

For part 2 of the night shoot, I’m currently awaiting feedback from a few people that shot at either Jurong Fishery Port Or Senoko Fishery Port. I’ve heard that its rather camera unfriendly……

I would suggest breaking into groups of 3 or 2 to explore around if the group is big. Please refrain from obstructing the stall owners from their work, would’nt want to be seeing fishes & choppers flying at our members.

Also, the fishery ports are not your usual wet markets. There is fish slime etc. on the floor, its gonna be wet & slippery.

I suggest for those who drive, load bottles of mineral water to wash down your shoes/slippers after the shoot & plastic bags to tie them out later. Bring a 2nd pair of footware as well. For the rest of the guys, we can share a cab in & out of that place.

For the Little India, the more the merrier. Fishery ports, I would suggest keeping the group to the minimal, need a subtle approach, don’t wanna overwhelm the fishery port.

Here is some read ups I managed to google on:
